Because regular, off the shelf products may not have the features you need, we specialize in custom leads for service dogs & people with disabilities. Let us design an accessible, easy to use lead that meets all of your needs. Safety is important—we want you to have the right equipment so the dog does not get tangled or injured while working.

You can specify the length, options, hardware, and features. Almost anything is possible. This price includes just about anything you could image so your service dog can work beside you. Special hardware, such as carabineers or push button latches are available. Just let us know what will work for you.

We will communicate with you via email, phone, or in person (in the Denver area!) so you can tell us what you have in mind. We will design and craft your leash to your specifications. If any adjustments need to be made after you receive it, we will modify the leash at no extra charge (within 4 weeks of delivery).

The photos shown are EXAMPLES of leads we made for clients to show just two possibilities:

This client with the black Boxer-Lab has limited mobility in his hands and wanted an all in one leash that was easy to use. This design features: (1) A built in collar that can be placed over the dog’s head without buckles, and has a limited slip-feature so the collar will tighten enough to not come off accidentally, but not so tight to choke or injure the dog. (2) Lead attaches to client’s chair with a low-tension carabineer. Several rings have been added to the leash in just the right place so the leash can be clipped to the carabineer to adjust the length for different tasks. (3) This leash has multiple positions so it can be quickly adjusted to the right length for working (without getting tangled), and extended for playtime or object retrieval.

The client with the Goldendoodle needed a custom leash that would not get tangled up on his wheelchair while the dog is working, and could be easily detached for playtime. This design features: (1) A custom fastener to attach the lead to the client’s chair, and a separate detachable handle for the leash. (2) Precise length to allow the dog to work without getting stuck or injured. (3) The lead quickly disconnects and converts to a regular leash.
