Service Dog Designs is located in the Denver Metro area. Our workshop is stocked with the highest quality leather and hardware available. We can make one of our carefully designed products for you, or custom design an item to your specifications. Every item we offer is hand crafted to order, so you get exactly what you need.
We are a small, independent business that make and sell our own product. Owner & designer Katrina Boldry will work directly with you on every detail of your order, from answering your first call or email, to the design and creation of your new equipment. Brian, co-owner (and Katrina's husband) assists with fabrication and techical support. We promise to be here if you ever have a problem or question because we guarantee our work.
For years we have volunteered to assist various service dog organizations, from puppy raising, to dog sitting, to attending and sponsoring fundraising events. Our experience with many different types of service dogs, pet dogs, and working dogs has inspired us to create unique, functional products. We understand both the needs of dogs and people.
Our network of service dog trainers and canine professionals help us develop ideas for new and improved equipment designs. New ideas are always evolving to meet a variety of client needs. We specialize in finding solutions to make equipment accessible and user-friendly. Leather is our material of choice: it is simply the best material for most dog training tools, from leashes to harnesses. Leather is natural, durable, weather resistant, soft and flexible, and will outlast any fabric or synthetic material. Our wool lining is real shearling (wool on the leather hide) and is superior to other linings because it is durable, natural, breathable, and washable. We use only the highest quality leathers from US hides and a domestic supplier. Hardware is always the highest quality available, you won't find any cheap metal that rusts or breaks in our workshop.
The right equipment is essential to providing comfort, convenience and confidence for people who use a service dog. Our goal is to help people be independent by providing custom made, accessible service dog equipment.
