Custom Wheelchair Leads
Do you struggle to keep your dog from getting tangled in your wheelchair? Do you have a hard time operating buckles and snaps? We have the solution for you. We offer 2 custom leash designs for wheelchair users.
Our Basic Wheelchair Lead is just the right length for your dog to work close to you and not get tangled up, or caught in the wheels. The lead is detachable with a quick release buckle.
The Wheelchair Leash has 3 parts:
1) The CHAIR ATTACHMENT mounts to the wheelchair. Easy to install on any part of the chair frame/tubing. Metal quick-release buckle is easy to operate. Includes a swivel to prevent tangling. 2) The DETACHABLE LEAD is made to your desired length (usually 20-30”). The lead has a bolt snap on one end to attach to the dog’s collar, and a quick-release buckle on the other. The buckle clicks onto the chair attachment. The lead length is adjustable for a perfect fit. Lead includes a ring to attach a leash. 3) Leash HANDLE clips to lead for use as a regular leash.
Our Wheelchair Hook offers the convenience of no buckles or latches. Our final design is coming soon. You are going to LOVE this awesome leash concept. You will be able to order the Wheelchair Hook with a custom leather lead that suits your needs, or use with your own leash. Our specially designed hook mounts to your wheelchair, and the leash drops onto the hook. It is safe, secure, and super easy to use. Perfect for people with quadriplegia and those with limited mobility/dexterity.
